WeSET Privacy policy

This privacy policy explains how we use any personal information we collect about you, whether that be when you use this website, or when you attend a WeSET event or WeSET stall. Our policy is to protect the personal data that we hold on our supporters, employees, and volunteers.

We may collect information about you electronically or on a paper form, when you register with us for one of our events, work for us as a volunteer or join one of our mailing lists. That information will include your name and email and may include your personal postal address, phone number, work address and phone number or other information that you provide. We use the information you have consented to provide to us to contact you to send you emails and information about our work, and other relevant information that we feel may be of interest to you. We will use information you provide to us to arrange visits for you or the organisation you represent. We will never pass on your information to any other organisation.

If you’re a volunteer then we may collect extra information about you (e.g. references, criminal records checks, details of emergency contacts, medical conditions etc.).
